With a small, swirling ensemble, we would explore his ambition, his grief, his alienation, and his struggle to love. Our intent has been to honor Shelley’s Frankensteinby capturing its essence, if not its scope or literal transpirations. Shelley’s work is studded with Romantic poetry, sublime descriptions of landscape, periods of nightmare, and most critically, episodes of blood-curdling terror.
