America America

Written and Directed by Joan Bigwood

Modesta is praying for a new job. She has lived in the US for over thirty years, but her English is still rather wobbly. After seventeen years of marriage, venture capitalist Mark Porter finally agrees to the idea of hiring a cleaning lady. Why now? A bond develops between Jane and Modesta. But who really needs whom?

*In English and Spanish, with the projection of English subtitles.*
