The Campus

Our calendar tends to get… ambitious.
Several productions rehearse at once.
One building. One room.To make things extra spicy, the stage is often fully occupied by the current set—making it hard for other groups, with completely different spatial needs, to rehearse properly.

Being able to access additional rehearsal space is vital for us.

Over the years, we’ve been lucky. Friendly organizations have hosted us—for free, for barter, or for reasonable fees: New Hampshire Theatre Project, Seacoast Rep Studios, Kittery Art Association, Kittery Community Center, the Upside Arts Space (when the Fox Run Mall was still a thing)…

But for the past two years, the Portsmouth Community Campus has quietly become a second home to us.
Modern. Spacious. Full of light. Thoughtfully and warmly run by the City’s Recreation Department.
If you haven’t been, pay a visit.

And while you’re there, raise your gaze toward Each One: The Button Project | A 9/11 Memorial by Sarah Haskell.
It’s a potent piece of public art that has just been rehomed there.

It stopped me. I hope it touches you too.

From my Ring-shaped heart,

Margherita
