We’re a nonprofit art organization driven by collaboration, experimentation, excellence, and community. We look forward to getting to know you—and your work.

Submissions for the 2026/2027 Season are now open.

Deadline for submissions is December 28, at 11:59 PM.

How It Works

At the heart of the Ring’s Season are our MainStage productions — typically 7 to 10 plays that each run for two or three weekends and are included in our subscription packages.

Unlike in years past, the Players’ Ring now serves as the primary in-house producer of MainStage productions. However, we are always open to collaborations and co-productions that align with our mission and artistic standards. While we provide producing support, we deeply value and preserve the artistic freedom of our creators—the vision and integrity of each production remain paramount.

While a few titles may be scouted, commissioned, or selected directly by the Players’ Ring, the best way to have an original or published work considered is to submit it through our annual open submission process and pitch it at the “Ring Toss” Live Event.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet and network with fellow theatre makers, and to discover what’s cooking in the hearts and minds of local artists.

Be as detailed as possible and attach a PDF of the piece you’re submitting.
    Deadline: December 28, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
We only accept completed, ready-to-produce plays; excerpts, drafts, or synopses with the promise of a future version will not be considered.
