Every December, A Christmas Carol comes knocking. It may be the most adapted holiday tale on the planet… does the world need another one?

At the Players’ Ring, the answer is yes — because ours is told Ring-style: surprising, poetic, playful, and deeply human.

True to Dickens’ charming and haunting novella, this adaptation by Ben Bagley becomes something entirely original in our tiny brick sanctuary: intimate, imaginative, a little handmade, a little magical. Two unlikely (and very funny) narrators usher you into a world where sleight-of-hand meets storytelling, ghosts appear in ways only our space can summon, and Scrooge’s transformation feels close enough to touch.

Duration: 80 Minutes including a brief intermission
