There’s a moment at the end of rehearsal that looks quiet.
The actors settle on the set, the designers gather close, and the director runs through notes — what landed, what needs adjusting, and what goes on tomorrow’s to-do list.
With the show about to premiere, and the team running it top-to-bottom, this appointment is absolutely essential.
When a director handles it well, the room stays curious and positive. Notes aren’t a critique; they are a chance to collaborate to tell the story better and better.
Then: “That’s all for tonight.”
Everyone walks away knowing exactly what they’re solving next.
From my Ring-shaped heart,
Margherita
