Board Service (and Terms)

A new volunteer at the front desk. An added showtime. A different story onstage.

There is a kind of change that feels… weightier, though.

A few years ago, the Board of Directors chose to implement term limits—a practice that invites renewal and ensures leadership evolves with the organization.

The Board is strategy, leadership, connection, accountability. It is people who hold the long view.

Some of our trustees have been part of the family since the very beginning—as founders, artists, patrons, advocates.

So, this marked a first.
We said goodbye to two pillars of the Ring.
We gathered, we told stories (some were very funny!), we got a little misty.
We honored the origin.
We made space—for new voices, skills, ideas, new energy.
