The Toymaker's Apprentice

By Martin McGeachy
Produced by Players' Ring Theatre

Toymaker Gideon has put out a search for a new apprentice for his workshop. Two children from the village, Jack and Libby, apply for the job as apprentice to Toymaker Gideon. Gideon can’t decide which youngster would make a better toymaker, and decides to hire them both for one year to see which of the two will best live up to his workshop's motto: "The Best Made is the Best Played". Each child gets an equal chance - but who will have what it takes to win this position? An original script by Martin McGeachy, The Toymaker's Apprentice is fast-paced, filled with music and hijinks, that celebrates the value of hard work, practicing fair mindedness, and the power of imagination.
