Synopsis:

Bring the whole family to see Mr. Scrooge discover the true meaning of Christmas in the classic Charles Dickens tale as adapted by The Players' Ring founder, Gary Newton.

Christmas Carol at the Players Ring is an all new staging of our traditional Christmas classic. A highly experienced and talented cast sings, dances, and even floats through the air in a roller coaster of fun, frolic, and fear. The joy of Christmas is evidenced throughout, with Carolers abundant both before and during the show, and the most festive Fezziwig party ever. Contrasting the fun is a deep darkness and bitterness bursting from Scrooge's soul on the verge of condemnation and new effects that will make the audience jump in their seats. From Marley's haunting wails and the sudden appearance of a foreboding Christmas Future to the beautiful and ethereal Christmas Past and the joyful spirit of Christmas Present, our ghosts will at times chill you and at others warm your hearts. Their visions that respect no boundary in Scrooge's bedchamber itself deliver Scrooge through a remarkable transformation. By the time Scrooge awakens on Christmas morning, audience members will truly believe Scrooge's words as he says "I'm not quite the same man I was".
