The Players' Ring classic returns after four years. Isles In The Moon is a surreal dramatization of the double midnight murder at Smuttynose Island on March 6, 1873. Based on local historical events (the same events which inspired Anita Shreve's popular novel The Weight of Water), it is the story of victims Anethe and Karen Christensen, their families and their surviving companion, Maren Hontvet, who eluded the killer by hiding all night in the bitter cold and eventually brought him to justice.
